Top Ten Books On My Spring 2013 TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish
This Week's Prompt
TOP TEN BOOKS ON MY SPRING 2013 TBR LIST

1. Thorn Abbey by Nancy Ohlin

Um this book is set in a boarding school. It's based on Rebecca. It sounds like it's got crazy drama. I just want to read it now. Plus I just kind of love modernized tellings of classics right now. It's a thing. Okay. Addiction. I'll admit it. (Goodreads / May 7, 2013 / Simon Pulse)

2. How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski

This one was on my most anticipated reads back in January and I am SO EXCITED for it to finally come out. Okay, sure, it's not until May, but I'm pretty sure that that still counts as spring. Right? Like road trips and new romance and this girl freakin' sets her ex's car on fire! (Goodreads / May 7, 2013 / Simon Pulse)

3. The Reece Malcolm List by Amy Spalding

So I've heard nothing but good things about this particular book. It was released in January, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I REALLY REALLY want to before spring is over. Plus it just seems like a good book to read outside. (Goodreads)

4. Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt

Going Vintage has been on my TBR shelf for nearly a YEAR you guys. A year. And it's finally coming out this month. It looks pretty cutesy and I don't even care. I just want a light, fun read to start off the season with. And this girl tries to live her life like it's the 60s after her boyfriend cheats, that's kind of an awesome premise. (Goodreads)

5. Just One Day by Gayle Forman

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the book blogging community who hasn't read Just One Day yet (or you know, anything else by Gayle Forman). I have this one, I've just been trying to get through a bunch of other books first. I'm thinking that's pretty unacceptable and it's moving to the top of my list for spring! (Goodreads)

6. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen

So this one is long long long overdue. My love for Jane Austen has been well documented, but I haven't read this one. I clearly need fix that. (Goodreads)

7. Then Again by Diane Keaton

Diane Keaton is one of my favourite actresses ever, but I haven't had the chance to read her autobiography yet. I am super stoked to get my hands on this because I always need a little nonfiction in my life and have a soft spot for celebrity memoirs. (Goodreads)

8. Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad Poets by Evan Roskos

So I was super excited to read this one when I made my most anticipated list at the beginning of the year and I still am. (Goodreads/March 5, 2013/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt)

9. The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler

Ugh, in a good way! This sounds like the cutest love story with potential for minor heartbreak ever. Sometimes I just want a romance and this looks like it'll fit the bill! (Goodreads/May 21, 2013/Simon Pulse)

10. The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty

This is another book that's been on my to read list for far too long. It received amazing reviews and like, historical fiction set in the 20s/30s AND it includes silent cinema! Yes. Please. (Goodreads/Riverhead)
